FAQ

Questions, answered.

The questions agencies ask us most, answered plainly. If yours isn't here, ask it on a demo call.

The basics

What is GEO?

GEO, generative engine optimization, is the work of getting a brand named when people ask AI assistants for recommendations. It's SEO's sibling: instead of ranking a page in a list of links, you're trying to be one of the three or four names in the answer.

How does Verdict work?

You tell us the questions your client's buyers ask, like "best HIPAA-compliant CRM". Every week we put each one to six AI assistants, record who they recommend and in what order, and trace every page the answer quoted. Then we turn the gaps into a fix list, worst first.

Which AI assistants does Verdict check?

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, each searching the web the way it does for real buyers. ChatGPT, Claude and AI Overviews search from your client's country; the others are told which country the buyer is in.

Who is Verdict for?

Agencies first: SEO, content and digital agencies adding GEO to their retainers. Marketing leads and founders use it too, when they need to know why AI assistants recommend someone else.

Results

How long until a fix changes the answers?

Website changes usually show up within a few weeks. Anything that depends on other people, like reviews, forum threads and third-party articles, takes one to two months. Mark a fix done and the trend shows what happened after.

Is this only about my client's website?

No, and that's the point. AI answers lean on review sites, Reddit, YouTube, Wikipedia and industry roundups. Verdict separates what you can fix on the site from what lives elsewhere, because the second group often decides the answer.

Will Verdict change my client's site?

No. Verdict tells you what to change and, for website fixes, gives your developer a starting point. You decide what ships.

Why weekly checks and not daily?

AI answers vary from one run to the next. A weekly check across six assistants, with every change confirmed before we report it, gives a steadier trend than a noisy daily one, and it's what keeps six assistants affordable on every plan.

Plans and billing

Is there a free trial?

Yes, 14 days, no card. We set it up with you after the demo, with your first client and their questions. Fourteen days means two weekly checks, so you see a trend, not a single snapshot.

Why do I have to book a demo?

Verdict is new, and we'd rather set up your first client with you than leave you with a blank screen. The call is 30 minutes and we'll bring your client's results to it.

What counts as a prompt?

One buyer question you track for one client. Each prompt is put to all six assistants every week, so 25 prompts means 150 answers a week, read and traced for you.

Can I share results with my clients?

Yes. Every client has a report you can print, save as a PDF or send as a link, covering visibility, competitors, and the fixes done and still to do.

Can I change plans or cancel?

Yes. We invoice monthly or yearly. Move up or down between plans at any time, and cancel at the end of any billing period. Annual plans are two months cheaper.
